Studs are screwed into the horse's shoes to provide better traction for jumping and galloping and turning. They come in a variety of lengths, with sharper ("spike") studs being used on harder ground; more rounded ("block") studs on softer footing.

We have a  good selection of screw-in studs ranging from 5 mm road studs to 20 mm mud (block) studs, starting at .99 each.
