MYLER BITS

Back to Bits Department

Myler bits are designed by horsemen who understand that the horse's relaxed acceptance of the bit is critical to communication between horse and rider. A variety of  designs that recognize anatomical differences between horses' mouths allow riders and trainers to choose a model that is most comfortable for the horse while providing precise control. Myler bits don't pinch, and many allow a rider to isolate each side of the mouth independently.

Sandridge is pleased to offer the range of Myler bits that are produced in China and sold under the Toklat label (they are available in a good range of styles and sizes at a reasonable cost) as well as the Myler bits that are handmade in the USA and are customized to your requirements - you choose the mouthpiece, rings or cheeks, and size you require. For more information, see the Myler website at www.mylerbitsusa.com or contact us with your questions.

We also have the book and video with a wealth of information on bitting in general and Myler bits in particular, 'A Whole Bit Better'.
