Happy Mouth Bits are made from a light, durable, non-toxic and flexible polyurethane plastic. A light apple flavour has been added to encourage the horse's acceptance of the bit.

The rings and cheeks , as well as the center of the mouthpieces are of stainless steel.

Stainless Steel Cores

It is important that the bit be the correct size and adjusted properly in the horse's mouth. Tooth marks on the bit may indicate that the horse's teeth may need attention. All bits should be inspected regularly, and damaged bits should not be used.
